1987 Chevrolet K5 Blazer (fullsize Blazer, not a S-10.) with a 4″ suspension lift

Question: I have a 1987 Chevrolet K5 Blazer (fullsize Blazer, not a S-10.) with a 4″ suspension lift. I’m shopping around for high quality shocks. This truck has 4 shocks up front and 2 on the rear. So I need a grand total of 6 shocks. Remember, it has a 4″ suspension lift, so factory stock size shock no longer fit. I’m kind of interested in Bilstein, depending on price. What do you recommend ??

Answer:
For a 4-inch lift, Bilstein makes 5100s, but not the 2 extra Quad shocks.
According to Bilstein- Front shock is: (4-inches of suspension lift)BE56252H5http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/product.cfm?id=15034 Rear shock is:(3 to 4 inches of suspension lift)BE56248H5http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/product.cfm?id=15025 On the extra shock, you may have to modify the truck / or shock, such as a 5100http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/bilstein_5125.cfmor 5150http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/bst_5150.cfm
