Air ride hitch for towing my fifth wheel trailer
Mar 5th, 2008 by tom
QUESTION:
I have an air ride hitch for towing my fifth wheel trailer. It
bounces excessively on bumpy roads and I would like to add shocks to help it
come back to center quicker. The load on the hitch is about 2500 lbs. and
the travel of the shock should be from 16 to 19 inches. I would like to
have eyes in each end for mounting to a stud. Can you help with this?
ANSWER:
For modified / custom built vehicles, where a direct bolt on unit is not
available:
Several companies we have offer shocks which can be purchased by size,
valving, mountings, etc.
