Question:
I’m looking for a high end shock that will give me less body roll in my 2004 Dodge Durango. I don’t mind the ride quality that I currently have, but I would like it a little stiffer. I also tow a lot with it. Usually items ranging from 2000 pounds, up to about 5000 pounds. So I also need something that’s going to perform while pulling. I had my eyes on the KYB MonoMax’s but I can’t find them anywhere for my application. Thanks!
Answer:
For better handling and control, you want to use a monotube design shock.
We have Bilstein, Edelbrocks and KYB Gasajust, shocks for a 2004 Durango. Those are all monotubes.

The Bilstein shocks are the best.
Since you work the vehicle some while towing, the KYB Gasjust shocks would be a good second choice.
