Question:

I would like to install better shocks and springs on my E36 328 1997 BMW. But, I DO NOT WANT TO LOWER MY CAR.

What are the shocks and springs that I should use?

Or, what are the shocks and spring that would lower my car the minimal as possible?

I am just interested in better handling and a little harder shocks than OEMs.

Thanks a lot.

The only springs we carry for your car are designed to lower it, but they will only lower the vehicle by about 1.5 inches. You can see those here:
If you’re interested in just replacing your struts, we also carry Bilstein Sport struts and shocks, which you can see along with all of the parts we offer for your car, here:
Since asphalt is made from an oil based binder of stones and other materials, the price to repair roads has gone way up, like 40% since last year. And as this article shows, with our roads getting less repairs, the condition of your shock absorbers becomes more important if you want a nice ride to work.

If these issues are showing up in discussions in the NY area, you can bet they will be showing up in towns and cities across the country. With the current economic situation fewer people are looking to research and buy a new car, repairs of existing cars and trucks are looking alot more cost effective. Be sure to check out our full line of replacement shocks and struts to keep you riding smoother during harder times.
